Anna is Hamara's Woman of Achievement!
The Hamara Community Awards took place in November 2011 and Anna was amazed and surprised to walk away with the Woman of Achievement award! The Milun Women's Centre in Leeds 8 where Anna practices her therapies is part of the Hamara Group, whose main centre is based in Beeston. Hamara is an ethnic minority organisation supporting many projects that benefit both the BME and non BME community alike. Student of the Year 2010
Anna was delighted to win a Leeds City College Student of the Year award in 2010. This was the overall departmental award for Thomas Danby Campus's Beauty and Complementary Therapies faculty and was in recognition of her outstanding achievement on the Foundation Degree in Complementary Therapies programme. This prestigous event took place at Leeds Town Hall on 24th June 2010 and was hosted by writer, poet and broadcaster Ian McMillan.

On Saturday 10th October 2010 my fellow students and myself attended the Great Hall at Leeds University to receive our Foundation Degree awards. This emotional occasion was the culmination of our two years of study and a particular highlight for me was to receive my degree award from the broadcaster Harry Gration.

Anna wins at ABDN awards
In 2009 Anna won the Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the Asian Business Network 11th Annual Awards Dinner. This glittering event took place on 26th March 2009 at the Royal Armouries in Leeds and was hosted by Kulvinder Ghir of Goodness Gracious Me and the Kumars at No 42. Simon Brereton of the Sharing the Success (LEGI) team presented Anna with the award and spoke of the challenges she had overcome to achieve her success along with her drive and determination.
